Throughout my career I’ve been managing all kinds of projects, in shipyards all around the world. From Mediterranean and Easter European shipyards all the way to Polynesian Islands and New Zealand shipyards.

Shipyard period is never an easy job and most of the time it is very stressful. Choosing a suitable location and shipyard, finding the most skilled workers for required jobs, managing workers and contractors while overseeing the entire project, is a demanding task.

We begin the planning phase by establishing the budget, and clarifying and setting specific goals, so that construction and installation decisions are focused on accomplishing these goals, with maximum safety, security and reliability, in the most cost-effective manner possible.

It takes time, knowledge and experience to have it all planned properly, but if done thoroughly from the beginning and discussed with the shipyard accordingly, other phases of the project such as work execution and monitoring will run more smoothly and easy.
