About me

I’ve been involved in yachting industry since a very young age. It all started while maintaining, sailing and racing dinghies and smaller sailing boats and also working as a skipper for charter companies around the Adriatic Coast. At the same time, I started contributing to North Sails Croatia working in the loft, but also sailing and racing with clients.

After graduating from the Split University where I hold master’s degree diploma in Management, I joined an international racing team and started sailing the world. I participated in many world regattas as a trimmer and helmsman, both in Fleet Racing and Match Racing.

After years of being in the racing world, I stepped onto my first Super Yacht. With an extensive strong sailing background and eagerness to learn and improve I made my way through the ranks relatively quickly and, at the age of 29, became the captain of a 50m sailing yacht (the biggest carbon sloop at the time) while holding MCA Master of Yachts certificate of competence.

In addition to my captain’s and engineering qualifications issued by the UK Maritime and Costal Agency, I also hold a Yacht and Small Craft Surveyor diploma issued by UK Maritime Training Academy.
